Why This Project Exists
The problem multi-account operators face is not "there is no browser" — it is that each account needs an independent, stable, long-lived browser environment that does not contaminate the others. Existing commercial tools each trade off in different ways across free allowances, profile caps, automation interface openness, and team collaboration models.
Virtual Browser's orientation:
- Free core — profile isolation, fingerprint settings, proxies, and extension management carry no profile-count cap, so individuals and small teams can validate an entire workflow at zero cost.
- Open interfaces — REST API, CLI, and MCP let the browser plug into Playwright, Puppeteer, or an AI toolchain instead of being GUI-only.
- Public documentation — fingerprint parameters, profile parameters, API references, and troubleshooting are all documented and searchable, rather than locked in support tickets.
Editorial Principles
Every page on this site follows these rules, and they apply to each comparison and selection conclusion you read here:
- No predetermined verdict — comparison pages do not declare a single "best" option; they provide reproducible verification methods.
- Flag uncertainty — where competitor capabilities or pricing are mentioned, the page explicitly says "verify" instead of stating volatile information as fact.
- No compliance-boundary guidance — no promise that an account "cannot be banned," and no methods for circumventing platform rules; only environment isolation and consistency configuration.
- Independent statement — this site has no affiliation with, authorization from, or partnership with the third-party brands it mentions, and uses no competitor logos.
